CTL Type 49 takes centre stage at F1X (exhibition) in Madrid
IFEMA MADRID became the venue for the first official exhibition of Formula 1, in which both legendary teams, experts and renowned people of the sport collaborated to provide a breathtaking adventure through the extraordinary world of Formula 1.
CTL were heavily involved in providing material for the six rooms where you can admire curiosities, mythical objects of all the teams and make a tour of the entire history of Formula 1.
The exhibition traces the influences of Team Lotus, Colin Chapman, Jim Clark and Ayrton Senna, as well as the unprecedented impact of Netflix’s Drive To Survive series. The spaces combines the very best interactive and immersive technologies, never-been-seen interviews, historic race cars, other artefacts and large-scale installations that are heavily focussed on Team Lotus developments through the 60s and 70s, as well as exclusive access to the F1 film archive, which transport spectators to the heart of F1 races.
Five years in the making - a ground-breaking exhibition lifts the curtain on one of sport’s greatest stories with display section that feature chassis, engine and aerodynamic developments that Team Lotus were at the forefront of development on.
From audio-visual spectaculars to elegantly curated displays, the show provides a dazzling journey through the world of Formula 1.
