Remembering Jochen

Saturday 5^th September will be 50 years to the day that Jochen died at Monza.

One month later, Emerson Fittipaldi won the 1970 USGP at Watkins Glen and Jochen Rindt was crowned posthumously as Formula One World Champion.

At Hethel today, Jochen’s Lotus type 49B – which he raced in the 1969 Tasman Championship – has been on display outside the workshop.
