Mark III Added to CTL Collection

Classic Team Lotus has an extensive collection of 1/43rd scale models, gathered over 26 years, courtesy of the dedicated efforts of many scale model manufacturers worldwide. But there are still quite a few gaps in the line-up, one of which was the Lotus Mk III.

Recently Clive Chapman was delighted to receive a presentation from his team mates, in the form of a scratch built model of the Mk III. Mark Rudling has been with the team since 2016 and is a keen and capable modeller. Mark applied his talents to creating a really excellent model, from scratch.

Clive presented the model to Hazel Chapman, for approval and temporary display, alongside a number of models of early Lotus, which she has on display at East Carleton Manor.

The model is now back at Classic Team Lotus, in pride of place on Clive's desk, although at some point it will take its place in the increasingly huge collection of 1/43rd Lotus scale models.
