Mario Andretti on Bob Dance

The Barber Motorsports Park played host to the Indycar Championship last weekend. Lee Clark took the opportunity to ask Mario Andretti about his years of working with Bob Dance, when Bob was Chief Mechanic for Mario at Team Lotus in the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties. (Scroll down for clip).

Evidently Mario genuinely appreciates the vital role of the Team Lotus mechanics – and Bob in particular – in the success that he enjoyed on track. It’s all about get-it-done-ability! Clearly a special relationship.
