Glover Trophy for Nick Fennell

Congratulations for the most exciting Glover Trophy race at this years Goodwood Revival.

Nick Fennell had a fantastic race in his type 25 - prepared by Kevin Smith - achieving fastest lap of the entire weekend as well as lifting the prestigious Glover Trophy.  It was a tense battle for first place with Martin Stretton and Miles Griffiths, both racing in a Lotus-BRM type 24.  This also marks the 6th win in a row for Classic Team Lotus. 

Classic Team Lotus customers Andrew Beaumont (Lotus 24) and Dan Collins (Lotus 21) also took part in the Glover Trophy and placed 6th and 8th.

Sir Stirling Moss was asked to say a few words at the prize giving and he said "it was one of the best races I've ever seen" - Quite a compliment!

Joaquin Folch raced his Lotus 16 in the Richmond Trophy and qualified 4th, finishing 5th overall. Again, an exciting race with some wheel to wheel action throughout
