Team Lotus features in Gran Turismo 6
13/06/14 - The Team Lotus type 97T was added to Gran Turismo 6 via the May 2014 update as part of the game's new feature "Ayrton Senna Tribute".
Ayrton Senna’s DAP Racing Kart, West Surrey Racing British F3 car, and the Team Lotus 97T F1 car are now available in Gran Turismo 6, along with his 1980, 1983, and 1985 driving suits.
They can be earned in the new Senna Tribute special events, which challenge you to beat Senna’s pole position times on historic versions of the Brands Hatch and Monza circuits that are also now available in GT6. Content includes a short film and two-part slideshow developed in collaboration with Senna's family and Brazil's Ayrton Senna Institute.
The car, licensed by Classic Team Lotus was added to Gran Turismo 6 via the May 2014 update as part of the game's new feature "Ayrton Senna Tribute".
Due to tobacco sponsorship laws, the JPS livery has been changed to "Team Lotus Special" that features the ACBC monogram.
97T/2 is part of the Classic Team Lotus 'Collection' and we gave access to the car and the design drawings to enable such an accurate recreation of the car.
