47GT-71 stars on HLR display at Classic Motor Show
Classic Team Lotus were please to be able to display 47GT-71 at the NEC Classic Motor Show. The car which has recently completed a full restoration by CTL was the star of the Historic Lotus Register stand at the recent three day event.
The Colorado Orange Type 47 (yes that is its original factory colour) that was featured in the August issue of Octane magazine drew plenty of admiring looks over the weekend.
Also on on the HLR stand at the weekend were the partially restored 1956 Monza record breaking Eleven and a 1971 Type 69 F3 car (71-69-5-F3). Also on show were a Mark VI, a beautiful dark blue Type 14 Elite and an example of the latest Lotus Emira i-4.
