Jim Clark’s birthday, 4th March 1936
Born this day, 1936, Jim Clark would have celebrated his 83rd birthday.
One of the greatest all-rounders, Jim competed, and excelled, in most forms of motor sport. He was British and French Formula 2 champion, and British Saloon Car champion in 1964, winner of Indianapolis 500 in 1965, and Formula 1 World Champion in 1963 and 1965.
Trophies and memorabilia spanning Jim’s career, will once again, be on show to visitors this summer, following completion of the newly expanded Jim Clark Museum. More information about the museum can be found at www.jimclarktrust.com
