Silverstone VSCC

The popular VSCC meeting at Silverstone, which featured HGPCA pre 66 and pre 61 racing for John Bowers' type 25 and Charles McCabe's type 18. Charles went especially well, finishing 5th on Saturday and getting close to the podium on the Sunday. John Bowers was pleased to see R4 going well in the hands of Andy Middlehurst who finished a fine second, in what was very much a warm-up race for the forthcoming Monaco Historique where car, owner, driver and mechanic - Bob Dance - will be trying their best to make it four-in-a-row at the most prestigious historic race of them all.
