Entries for Monaco have been announced and Classic Team Lotus customers have been delighted to be invited to participate in force.  The team will be taking 12 cars to the principality – two weeks before the Grand Prix, in May – and will run them across five of the seven categories.  This will be the eleventh Historique and the ACM has added a category for early ground effect cars, which means that Andrew Beaumont and Steve Brooks will be racing their Essex liveried type 81s there, 38 years since David Thieme’s petroleum company pretty much took over Monaco for the GP weekend, decorating every inch in Essex colours and logos.
